Becoming a Positive Thinker

Do you ever wake up and you just feel good? You wake up having that feeling that makes you think “today’s going to be my lucky day!” I know that I’ve had that happen to me! Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I’m suddenly filled with this feeling that let’s me know that today is going to be a good day. The important thing to remember is that when you have these days you have to make sure that you keep on running with it. There is so much negativity in the world, so when you wake up feeling the positivity that exists then you need to make sure and embrace it. Don’t jut let it end there, but choose to let that positivity spread to the rest of your day. Let that good feeling lead to more goodness throughout your day.

Waking up feeling good is always good and it can end up acting a bit like a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you believe that your day is going to be a good day then your day will end up being a good day because all of the actions that you choose to make on that day are going to be reflective of you wanting to have a good day. On that same note, if you wake up feeling like you’re going to have a bad day then it’s pretty likely that you’re going to end up having one. If you decide that your day is going to be bad then you’re also likely to choose actions that are going to lead you to have a bad day. That’s why it’s so important for you to make sure that you don’t allow a bad feeling or one bad action to lead you down a path of destruction. If you do have a bad thought or if you do choose to do something negative then you can also make the conscious decision to not allow that one bad thing to ruin the rest of your day. Acknowledge that bad thought or that negative action when it happens and then move on from it. Don’t dwell on it. Focus all of your thoughts on having a better day from that point forward so that this one bad moment does not have to define you.

Positive thinker, it’s true that you attract what you think. If all you ever think about is bad things then you’re only ever going to see bad things happening to you in your life. On the other hand, if you think about positive things happening to you then positive things will happen to you. That’s why it’s so important for you to make a habit out of thinking positively. And I know, thinking positively is a hard thing to do if you’re not used it. You can’t expect to become a positive thinker overnight. It takes some hard work and some effort on your part. But to get started you can begin by simply acknowledging something good in your life daily. It doesn’t have to be big. It can be something as small as making it to work on time. You see, when you start to acknowledge the good things in your life you start to realize how many good things there actually are in your life. If you need to, you can do this acknowledgement everyday at the end of your day. Take a few minutes to reflect on your day. Go through your thoughts and pick out the good that happened to you during that day. And write it down if you have to! Put those positive thoughts some place you can see them so that you can really take in how much good you have in your life. And once that starts to happen then you will allow for more positivity to enter into your life. People will notice the change in you and they will act accordingly. You will attract more positive people and those positive people can help you even more on your journey towards positivity. Soon you will even start to realize that it’s possible to find good in your life even during your troubled moments. But like I said, you probably won’t get to this level overnight. Start off small and see what can happen!
