“ As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing …
As the year comes to a close, we are all thinking about resolutions and what we want to change in the new year. One of ours here at Positivity Works! is to continue to encourage a healthy and optimistic view on life for both our readers and ourselves. In that effort to bring us all into the new year with a smile, we have found a great video supporting wondrously positive ideas about kindness and it’s ability to improve happiness. The music is pretty cool too. So why not take a look? Maybe it can inspire you to spread the kindness, too!
We here at Positivity Works! are of the opinion that we need to be positive because it builds our tolerance to pain and hurt. It builds our tolerance to the reality of the multiple wars, disasters, and grievances and helps us to go on living. It even builds our tolerance to physical pains. For example, convincing yourself that “you got this” in a middle of a torturous run can really be the thing to push you past the pain of the cramp in your side. Positivity can also build your tolerance for others when you would like nothing better than to *&^BKJD!!! (insert *be really mean to them*). Being able to turn away from them with a smile is much better than being arrested, don’t you think?

Few orators have the ability to simultaneously uplift, give hope, spread love and help us build our dreams, but when they do…it is inspiring. In celebration of one of the best, we here at Positivity Works! wanted to share Martin Luther King, Jr.’s most famous speech and the epitome of positive thinking. Enjoy and have a dream today!!!
The use of our intelligence quite properly gives us pleasure. In this respect the brain is like a muscle. When we think well, we feel good. Understanding is a kind of ecstasy. —Dr. Carl Sagan
Gotta leave that nine to five upon the shelf
An’ just enjoy yourself
C’mon and groove
Let the madness in the music get to you
Life ain’t so bad at all
The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.
So tired Tired of all this drama Broken heart again Another lesson learned Better know your friends Or else you will get burned Gotta count on me Cuz I can guarantee that I’ll be fine No more pain No more pain No drama (no more drama in my life, no ones gonna make me hurt again) No more in my …
